Writing to find thyself. Writing to know thyself. Writing to heal thyself.

A poem, story, or letter. A webpage, memoir, wedding ceremony or eulogy. A journal entry that seeks to know oneself. We write through the rituals and the mundane. We write to release. We write to celebrate and to mourn. Wildlight is on a search and rescue mission. The world needs more poems.

Upcoming Writing Workshops

A 5-week self paced course that can be downloaded at any time. Each class contains a short talk and writing exercise that explores a common theme in healing. Also includes access to a Facebook group for the purpose of sharing writing experiences and getting feedback.

Write 40 Poems in 40 Days with this guided writing class. You will receive daily writing prompts as well as 3 live sessions to facilitate an ongoing and in-depth writing experience. During the live sessions you will be invited to share what you are writing as a way of hearing your own voice and practicing the activation of the throat chakra to strengthen the creative center.

This class runs from Sunday, March 31, 2024 to May 11, 2024. The first live session will be held at 2pm on Sunday, March 31, 2024.

4-Class Series held biweekly on Wednesdays at 8pm Eastern on August 16th & 30th, September 13th & 27th. The live classes will be held using zoom audio only and will be 2 hours in length. This series will focus on activating the throat chakra to write the truth, even if it’s ugly.

Hi, I’m Anuhea.

I believe in the power of writing to transform a life into something more authentic. The classes I offer are spaces to explore the inner world, where all healing happens. Connect with your inner child, your higher self, your true divine light, by opening your soul-hearing and picking up the pen.

The call to write came early in my life. And has remained a constant tool for expression, investigation and healing. I write because to not write is too painful. I write to discover myself. To understand myself. To truly know myself. Language is such a funny thing. There is a finite number of words, sounds, letters to attempt to describe that which is infinite, to get at the crux of this life, being human, being alive for our small magical moment. I want to say it. I want the saying it to reach the Divine like a love letter on the lips of a lover. I write for the healing of my heart, to get free of every single thing that darkens my light, to feed the light of my own soul. This Wild Light Within.

“We cannot live in a world that is not our own, in a world that is interpreted by others. An interpreted world is not a home. Part of the terror is to take back our own listening, to use our own voice, to see our own light.”

Hildegard of Bingen

What Others Say

I just did the writing exercise and want to take a moment to thank you because this past week I’ve had a lot of revelations and lots of emotions and I’ve been feeling God’s love like never before. It shakes me to my core. I cannot believe this is my life now.
— Testimonial from Tyler P., participant in my class Writing on the Healing Path.

“There’s a reason poets often say, ‘Poetry saved my life,’ for often the blank page is the only one listening to the soul’s suffering, the only one registering the story completely, the only one receiving all softly and without condemnation.”

Clarissa Pinkola Estes
